The Warmroof System plays a part in creating a safer environment for future generations.
The Warmroof System:
- reduces fuel bills, so reducing the emissions of harmful pollutants into the atmosphere
- is applied by a spray that is CFC free
- is the most efficient form of insulation available today
- reduces heat-loss through the roof by up to 80%
An Independent Review
An independent review of the impact of thermal insulation on global warming was carried out recently. The results were reported in “Thermal Insulation and its role in Carbon Dioxide Reduction”, by Caleb Management Services.
It was recognised that thermal insulation can play a key role in the cost effective reduction of carbon dioxide emissions in Europe and save up to 350 million tonnes per annum by 2010.
Retrofitting of uninsulated or poorly insulated properties provides by far the biggest contribution to carbon dioxide savings.
The report also pointed out that insulation materials should be highly efficient, in terms of performance at low thickness levels, should have a high strength to weight ratio, should be easy to apply, fibre-free and resistant to moisture.

The key requirements listed above admirably describe the properties of the Warmroof System.
One of the most important aspects of spray-applied polyurethane foam is the fact that it produces a seamless blanket of insulation, without joints. Any jointed system, including insulation boards, gives rise to a potential weak point, leading to a significant loss of insulation value.
The government supports thermal insulation and has reduced the VAT payable on your Warmroof installation.

What is the BBA?
The British Board of Agrément is an organisation partnered with the British Government and whose governing board includes representation on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
The BBA’s agrément certificates have been providing authoritative and independent information on the performance of building products for over 35 years. Every agrément certificate contains important data on durability, installation and compliance with building regulations, not just in England and Wales, but in Scotland and Northern Ireland, too.
How does the BBA carry out tests?
To be accredited with BBA certification, Warmroof had to be assesed thouroughly within three distinct areas – laboratory testing (carried out wherever possible to UKAS requirements), site inspections (undertaken by the BBA’s own inspection services team), and factory production control.
Since 1966, the BBA’s test services staff have developed an unparalleled reputation and expertise in the testing of construction products and materials – either linked to agrément certificate assessments or as tests in their own right.
All tests are carried out in accordance with EN 45001, with a wide range of tests is accredited by UKAS.
What Does This Mean to You?
You can rest assured that the Warmroof Rigid Foam System has been tested to the very highest standards and complies with all the relevant legislation.

Keep Your Roof Warm and Reduce Your Heating Bills with Warmroof
The Warmroof Rigid Foam Insulation System is the most effective roof insulation available today. Owing to its 95% closed-cell construction, it is far more efficient than fibreglass, keeping your roof warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Stop Heat Loss : Keep Your Roof Warm
With the Warmroof system installed, heat loss through the roof is dramatically reduced, as illustrated by the picture to the right. Although both properties have fibreglass, only the property on the left, which has had the Warmroof system installed, has retained the heat leaving the snow un-melted on it’s roof. You also benefit from a roof space that is warm, dry and clean.
Reduce Your Heating Bills The cost of heating a home has never been higher, both in financial and environmental terms. Warmroof’s customers report huge savings on their heating bills – up to 30% in most cases – and enjoy a consistently warmer home. What would a 30% saving in heating bills mean to your household budget? Protecting the Environment The Government is keen to reduce the damage done to the environment by traditional energy generation techniques. Heating our homes accounts for most of the energy we produce in the UK. Insulating our homes, and keeping a warm roof over our heads, effectively reduces the damage done to the environment by energy waste and pollutants. The aim is to create a safer environment for future generations.
Pay Only 5% VAT To endorse the effectiveness of the Warmroof System and the environmental benefits of saving energy, the Government is offering an incredible 12.5% VAT discount, making the solution even more affordable.

To give you a little background on Warmroof Systems Ltd, we are one of the UK’s largest roofing companies, and together with offering the usual repairs and re-roofs, we specialise in a unique “spray foam” insulation system, first shown back in 1977 on BBC’s Tomorrows World programme.
The Warmroof System offers an alternative to reroofing. The spray foam loft insulation strengthens your roof and puts an end to ongoing roof and loft maintenance and repairs, thereby saving you money.
We can show you much more about the system, and have lots of information and videos available to watch online at www.warmroof.co.uk.
Please keep checking back to our blog, as we will be posting information about our company and events that we will be attending, as well as information about our chosen charity NSPCC.
